All the Celtics needed was a big shot from Paul Pierce and a huge night from Ray Allen to keep the NBA's longest current winning streak intact.
Pierce drained a clutch trey with 7.4 seconds left to force overtime and Allen posted seven of his 35 points in the extra session to give the Celtics a 122-117 road victory over the Pacers on Sunday, extending their winning streak to 12 games.
Kevin Garnett poured in 17 points and moved into 29th place on the NBA's all-time leading scorers list, passing George Gervin.
Eddie House added 15 points as the Celtics improved to 20-2 and avenged their only road loss of the season, which came at the Conseco Fieldhouse on November 1.
