Bostons 23-2 start to the season

Repaying the Jazz for their biggest loss of the regular season last year, the Celtics downed the Jazz by a score of 100-91. It was Boston's 15th straight win, improving the franchise record for fastest start to 23-2. The NBA's best start with two losses is 26-2.
Rondo's more aggressive assault on the rim often makes it even easier for Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to score. Rondo's recent increased scoring comes from blowing by his defender, thus requiring the post defender's attention. On Monday he scored a season-high 25 points, to go with 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and 6 turnovers.
Just when you thought this team couldn't possibly get any better ... it did.

Celtics!

All the Celtics needed was a big shot from Paul Pierce and a huge night from Ray Allen to keep the NBA's longest current winning streak intact.
Pierce drained a clutch trey with 7.4 seconds left to force overtime and Allen posted seven of his 35 points in the extra session to give the Celtics a 122-117 road victory over the Pacers on Sunday, extending their winning streak to 12 games.
Kevin Garnett poured in 17 points and moved into 29th place on the NBA's all-time leading scorers list, passing George Gervin.
Eddie House added 15 points as the Celtics improved to 20-2 and avenged their only road loss of the season, which came at the Conseco Fieldhouse on November 1.

2009 Yamaha R1. Shes good!

Yamaha unveiled its all-new 2009 YZF-R1 in Las Vegas on September 8. R1 buyers are starting to request rider-friendly features like more bottom-end torque over top-end power, so the new bike doesn't gain much power or lose weight compared to the 2008 YZF-R1. Instead, it uses technology like a "crossplane" crankshaft. The "crossplane" or 90-degree crankshaft has a staggered firing order—270, 180, 90 and 180 degrees—to smooth out the inertial energy pulses that make a liter-sized sportbike feel bigger and heavier than middleweight machines. Tech Editor Kevin Cameron notes that this crank is significant because it will improve grip accelerating off corners. The bike will be in dealers in January; prices start at $12,390, or $691 more than the 2008 model.
Celtics 8 and 1!! Pierce with the game winner!
