Something to drink your DPR in

The Rolls-Royce Phantom. 2-door version $340,000 / 4-door version $420,000

you do get a 6.7 liter V-12 that produces 453 horsepower and gets a wallet breaking 11-14 miles per gallon. Where do i sign up?!

Dom Perignon Rose' Vintage 1996

The name Dom Perignon has become synonymous with class and stature. Fascinating. Mature notes of mushroom, corrupt cherry and forest undergrowth evoke an aged red Burgundy. Firm and medium-bodied, yet softening and with little effervescence, it fades by the finish, but the bouquet alone is worth the price of admission. Rated 92

Shit better be rater a 100 for $425 a bottle. Buy it here

Darius Miles is a Celtic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2nd favorite player has been out of the league for two years recovering from a knee injury, but Darius Miles hopes that the long road to recovery ends in Boston, as he signed with the Celtics on Friday.

Miles, a 6'9", 235lbs forward out of East St. Louis High School has posted career averages of 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.15 blocks in 412 career games. Miles was originally drafted with the third overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. Miles last played for the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2005-06 season when he averaged a career high 14.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 40 games. Miles missed all of the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons due to microfracture surgery on his right knee.

Get em' while they last!

Buy one today and sell it next week for double or triple your money. These were released a few months ago and sold out in a matter of days and then sold on ebay for over a hundo each. $45 here

These would rip to have

Foot-Fins strap on to your feet and act like highly efficient flippers. When you kick, they flex and propel you through the water using an aerofoil (or in this case an aquafoil), in much the same way that planes travel through the air. They're carbon-fibre, so you won't break them in a hurry. There are six gears, and you can change them while you swim. In the highest gear, the official site suggests that you can hit 8mph - twice the speed at which slow-ass Phelpsy swims at. So fast, in fact, that a strong swimmer should be able to leap out of the water entirely.

New Bugatti!!

Heres the latest model from the French automaker, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport.

The regular Veyron 16.4 is quite exclusive in its own right – only 160 have been built, with deposits on 240 more -- and the new Grand Sport will be built in even fewer numbers. Only 150 copies of the new roadster will be built, with the first 50 available only to current Bugatti customers.

The new Grand Sport is distinct in many ways, but the most noticeable addition -- or perhaps subtraction -- is the removable roof. The roof is made of a transparent polycarbonate and requires two people to remove. Once removed, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport becomes what Bugatti calls the fastest roadster in the world, with a top speed of around 225 mph. Put the top back and the Grand Sport will reach just over 250 mph and hit 0-62 in just 2.5 seconds.

All that performance and exclusivity comes at a high price. The Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport will be priced at 1.4 million euros (just over $2 million) when it becomes available next March.

Dope Table

Produced by artist Lee J Rowland whose surface finish has been taken to the extreme in this dramatic example of aerospace engineering.

The contoured table top is the result of an arduous CNC 3D machining process followed by lap polishing, a technique responsible for some of the most perfect finishes on the planet. It's produced in chrome plated copper and steel.

Briedunkadunk

Is in her 2nd month at Salon Monaco. She is diggin everyday she works and will be one of the top stylists/colorists here in the Golden State. She has yet to lop anyones ear off so to me thats a great sign she rips at what she does. If you see her just say "what up Frankenstein" and she will probably laugh her head off and then throw you a card and a smile.

Stone Brewing Co.

On August 16th in San Marcos, CA. The Stone Brewing Company is having a beer fest! I have experienced these beers and will have to say they rip pretty hard. If your a fan of the micro brew type beers you will attend this shindig and leave with a little smile on your face. Or a big one depending on which brew you drink. Its a invitational so there will be more companies attending than just the Stone company.

Skim Results From UST

A fourth place finish in Vilano makes Bill Bryan's first place UST spot nearly a lock. Bill is sitting on a comfortable 1243 point lead over the nearest competitor and a strong placing at Santa Cruz will likely crown him as 2008 UST champion with an event to spare.

Meanwhile Brandon Rothe and Paulo Prietto will have a much more competitive race for the second place spot over the next two events. Brandon is currently in second with a 212 point lead.

Brad Domke placed second in the Vilano event which earned him a razor thin 4th place spot, with Morgan Just only 11 points behind him and Brandon Sears only 39 points behind Morgan. This will likely make the race for 4th, 5th and 6th place the most exciting to follow in the final two events.

Opening Night Hoops

Cleveland @ Boston, 8 p.m. ET, TNT
Portland @ LA Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET, TNT
The last time the Cavs and Celts met up, Lebron James' 45 points weren't enough to push past Paul Pierce's 41 as Boston battled its way to an epic Game 7 victory. This time around there won't be nearly as much at stake, but LeBron & Co. could relish the role of playing the spoiler on a night when the Celtics will don their rings and raise banner No. 17 into the rafters at the TD Bank North Garden.

In the second game of TNT's double-header, the championship runner-ups host the team that just might have the most buzz surrounding it as an up-and-coming franchise. The matchup will feature a big man making a comeback for both teams as L.A. fans will finally get to see what an Andrew Bynum-Pau Gasol-Lamar Odom front court will look like, while the No. 1 pick of the 2007 Draft, Greg Oden, will anchor the middle for the first time for the fresh-look Blazers.

Ray Underhill RIP 1962-2008

Ray Underhill spent the past two years battling a Chordoma brain tumor. Despite the condition’s debilitating effects, Ray maintained the kindness and strength he was known for. He was an example to his family and to his friends of what it means to be a father, a husband, a friend. Throughout his ordeal, Ray never let his spirit succumb to the cruelty of his condition.

After surgery, and several radiation and chemotherapy treatments, Ray passed away on Friday morning, August 1, 2008, at a hospital near his home in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Ray will be remembered by some as the Powell-Peralta Bones Brigade pro of the late 1980s with the smooth style and deep bag of tricks. He will be remembered by others in the skateboard industry as the Gullwing Team Manager or Web Master at Eastern Skateboard Supply. To those of us who knew Ray, he’s remembered as the guy we wish we were. The one we wish everyone else would emulate—his candor, his kindness, his sense of humor an example to us all. If everyone in the world were just a little more like Ray, what an amazing, peaceful place this would be.

His wife Kerry, and their children Keaton (13) and Olivia (8) lost a husband and a father on Friday. And skateboarding lost a brother—one who made his mark on his board, but who went on to affect us all in far more profound ways for who he was off his skateboard. Quite simply, he was the best of us, and is tremendously missed.
